Finally it’s here! A season that’s awaited the most… Monsoon!!
None except school going kids can explain & express the joy better… especially when the sky is full of grey & black clouds, sudden lightning strikes the chords, roads & lanes get blocked and schools announce a holiday! It’s always a wonderful feeling when one gets an unexpected holiday because of the heavy rains.
Shops start getting full of colourful raincoats, jerkins, umbrellas, rainy shoes & gum-boots… the thelewalas start preparing extra vada-pavs, kanda-bhajis & cutting chai… and who can refuse to enjoy those wet moments with the beloved person and friends! Couples in love certainly have a good excuse to share umbrellas, embrace each other & enjoy the romantic moments to cherish.
